We are Hiring! FWS: Office of Undergraduate Research Student Programs Intern
- Student will be working up to 11 hours per week assisting with program planning and communication including but not limited to supporting office communications including email, social media, Symposium, calendar and website announcements.
- Additional roles for representing the Office through tabling events, drop-in hours, student organization visits, and OUR yearly events including URC is required. The student will work on specific projects associated with OUR related events and activities.
- This role will assist with basic administrative functions of the office including but not limited to light office duties (greeting visitors, answering phones, recording meeting notes, responding to email, filing, posting campus signage, and oral and written communication).

Spring 2025 Request for Proposals
- Mentors can submit project proposals for Spring 2025 OUR Scholars now.
- Project Proposals are due September 16, 2024
- We have a new internal competitions portal, so don’t wait until the last minute.

Register for UCOL 2101: Intro to Research
- One credit hour course offered on Thursdays from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm in Fretwell 306
- A professional development course that prepares students for successful engagement in undergraduate research. Provides an in-depth overview of research methods and practices. Students actively participate in conducting literature research and learn about the research process.
- Led by OUR Associate Director, Dr. Sarah Powell
- **Note: This course is intended for students interested in learning more about undergraduate research who have not already been employed as OUR Scholars
